Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States (LAS), and Ms. Dina Al-Yahya, Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), signed on Monday, the 23rd of this month, a memorandum of understanding between the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States and the Digital Cooperation Organization on the sidelines of the high-level segment of the (79) session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
The official spokesman for the Secretary-General, Jamal Rushdi, stated that during the signing ceremony that was organized at the headquarters of the Arab League mission in New York, Aboul Gheit stressed the growing interest of the Arab League in the field of cooperation and digital transformation, wishing all success in formulating this memorandum of understanding in a way that serves the interests of the two organizations and member states.
