According to Aljumhuriah Paper, the Minister of Endowment and Islamic affairs (Al-Awqaf Minister) Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Guma, will convene an open meeting with the leaders, Imams, youth and intellectuals of the Wadi al-Jadid Governorate in the presence of Major General Governor, Mohammed Al-Zamlout in the Great Hall of Meetings in the General Bureau of the Governorate on Sunday 15/10/2017. It is planned to open four mosques in the governorate during the visit.
In the same context, Guma has warned of formal and political religiosity manifestations that is considered one of the most serious challenges facing Arab and Islamic societies.
He has emphasized that political religiosity is more serious than formal religiosity because religion is used as a fabrication mean to reach power through the abuse of religious sentiments. The love of people for their religion make them believe that their aim is to serve Allah’s religion and enabling it.
Since, the true religiosity is a pure religion to Almighty God. The untrue religiosity in which the extreme groups try to market themselves as Defender of the Faith, is a danger to the individual and society.
