Recently, for the 45th time, the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers of the League of Arab States adopted a special resolution expressing goodwill towards China. In this context, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiaqun stated that this resolution fully embodies the Arab countries’ determination to strengthen relations with China and highlights the importance of convening the Second China-Arab Summit.
Guo Jiaqun noted that under the strategic leadership of the heads of both sides, China-Arab relations are experiencing their best period in history. Both sides continue to firmly support each other on issues related to their core interests. Cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative has yielded fruitful results, with trade volume between the two sides exceeding USD 400 billion. Both parties remain committed to promoting regional peace and stability, upholding international justice, and advancing the high-level China-Arab strategic partnership.
