The festival is a renowned gaming with a 20-year history spanning over 70 editions. The 2024 edition celebrated the 5th anniversary of Insomnia Egypt, reinforcing its status as Egypt’s biggest gaming festival and the Middle East’s longest-running.

Insomnia Egypt 2025 will take place from 24 to 26 april in Cairo. Festival offers diverse activities like board games, skating, escape rooms, and freestyle football, catering to every age and interest.
The Russian Embassy in Cairo has extended invitations to attend the presentation on the launch of the first Russian complex specializing in the video game and animation industry, scheduled to open in Moscow in 2025, as part of the Insomnia Egypt gaming festival in Cairo.
