The Kingdom continues its humanitarian efforts for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). Over the past few days, the Center has provided a package of emergency medical supplies and consumables to enhance the capacity of intensive care units, surgery, and emergency departments at the European Gaza Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip. The goal is to support hospitals’ ability to respond to critical cases and contribute to saving the lives of the injured, amid an unprecedented deterioration in the humanitarian and health situation in Gaza.
This support comes in coordination with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, KSRelief’s implementing partner in the Gaza Strip, which continues its field efforts despite difficult challenges, most notably the bombing and destruction of one of its warehouses.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) also provided a new batch of emergency medical supplies to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) to support its clinics and medical centers in the southern Gaza Strip.
This aid comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s long-standing role in standing with the brotherly Palestinian people during the various crises and hardships they face.
