Turkish Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Isikhan and his accompanying delegation visited Cairo at the invitation of Egyptian Minister of Labor Mohamed Gebran.
The Turkish Minister extended an invitation to his Egyptian counterpart to visit Turkey, and the visit is expected to take place in the coming months.
Turkish Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Isikhan and his accompanying delegation visited Cairo at the invitation of Egyptian Minister of Labor Mohamed Gebran. The two sides discussed the action plan for the cooperation agreement signed between the two sides during President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi’s visit to Ankara on September 4, as well as the work of the committee responsible for its implementation.
The two sides also discussed cooperation issues within the framework of the International Labor Organization.
The Turkish Minister invited his Egyptian counterpart to visit Türkiye, and the visit is expected to take place in the coming months.
During the visit, which was attended by Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen, Minister Işıkhan visited the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids. He toured the rich antiquities, statues, and other monuments that embody the beauty of Egyptian civilization, accompanied by a tour guide. He received information about the museum’s opening from Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen.
The Minister, accompanied by Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen, also visited the Quran House at the Grand Egyptian Mosque in the Egyptian Islamic Cultural Center and signed the commemorative book.
In his speech in the commemorative book, he thanked everyone who contributed to this great work for the Islamic world and the rapid completion of this building, in accordance with President Sisi’s directives. He also received information about the inscription of the Holy Quran on marble and its preservation until the Day of Judgment, particularly at the Quran House, and expressed his appreciation to those responsible for this work.
Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen stated in a press statement that the visit was very successful and fruitful, and that cooperation between the two countries in the field of employment and labor will continue to strengthen and deepen in the coming period.
Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen added that further ministerial visits from Turkey to Egypt are planned for the coming period.
