The prestigious Egyptian Writers Union (EWU) honored Dr. Abdullah Faraj Al-Marzouqi by granting him membership in the union in recognition of his media and cultural career and his role in strengthening Egyptian-Qatari cultural relations.
This comes as part of Dr. Al-Marzouqi’s tour of beloved Egypt, which resulted in a series of important meetings, including:
** Meeting with His Excellency Ambassador Tariq Ali Faraj Al-Ansari, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Cairo and Permanent Representative of Qatar to the League of Arab States.
** He also met with Ms. Maryam Al-Shaibi, Deputy Ambassador, and participated in the annual celebration of the Qatari Embassy in Cairo to mark Orphan’s Day.
Separately, he met with the Head of Egyptian Radio, Mr. Mohamed Nawar, and the Head of the Voice of the Arabs Network, Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Basyouni.
Dr. Abdullah Faraj Al-Marzouqi has appeared in several television and radio interviews, including:
* An interview on the Ramadan Literature program with journalist Sara Mustafa on Al-Hadath TV.
* An interview on Sawt Al-Arab Radio with journalist Ghada Kamal, Director of the Youth Department at Sawt Al-Arab Radio. He has participated in several programs, including: (Arab Imprints on Qatar’s Cultural Imprint on the Arab Cultural Map), (My Family) on Qatari family customs and traditions during private and public celebrations, and (Our Eid is Arab) on Eid celebrations in Qatar.
He has also conducted several press interviews, including:
* Interview in Aqeedati newspaper with journalist Ahmed Shaaban
* An exceptional interview with Dr. Abdullah Al-Marzouqi, via the Hakay platform, in the company of a group of prominent thinkers, intellectuals, and critics.
* An interview on Nile Culture Channel with journalist Abdel Hamid Al-Sayed, which included a discussion about Qatari customs and traditions during Eid al-Fitr.
* An interview with journalist Ashraf Al-Ghazali, head of Nile Culture Channel.
* Zahrat Al-Arab monitors the radio interview (Arab Imprints), which was broadcast by Dr. Abdullah Faraj Al-Marzouqi on Sawt Al-Arab Radio, given the importance of the visions presented by Dr. Abdullah during the interview.
* The Arab Thinker House and Forum celebrates Dr. Abdullah Al-Marzouqi Through a symposium titled “Media, Culture, the Arabic Language and its Status,” attended by a galaxy of intellectuals and critics, they reviewed Dr. Abdullah Al-Marzouqi’s creative experience. Participating in the symposium were:
Critic Mr. Zakaria Sobh, media personality Sayed Hassan, poet Ahmed Ibrahim Gad, critic Saleh Sharaf Al-Din, and writer Dr. Diaa Al-Za’iri. The symposium witnessed a large public turnout.
