Praying to God Almighty, His Eminence the Mufti of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sheikh Nuruddin Khaliq Nazar, Chairman of the Muslim Administration of Uzbekistan, congratulated the Muslim world across the East and West on the advent of Ramadan 1446 and the harvest of his blessings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, as follows:
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to God, who has brought us the blessed month of Ramadan, bestowed upon us countless blessings and bounties in it, and completed for us the blessings of fasting and standing in prayer. May peace and blessings be upon the most honorable of prophets and messengers, and upon their families and companions.
On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, I am pleased to extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to all Muslims, men and women—our brothers and sisters around the world. I pray to God Almighty to bring this blessed occasion back to the Islamic nation and the entire world with goodness, blessings, and prosperity, and to make us among those who are accepted and freed from the Hell, among those who win Paradise, and among those who are freed from their sins as on the day their mothers bore them. With the blessings of this virtuous day, we ask God Almighty to relieve the concerns of Muslims everywhere, to grant them relief and peace, and to grant them aid and salvation from all affliction. We ask You, O Most Merciful, to be with the weak and oppressed, to relieve their suffering, and to grant them victory in every ordeal.
Happy Eid al-Fitr to all. May God accept our fasting and prayers, and make us among those He frees from the Hell. O God, make this Eid a holiday of peace and mercy, and forgive us, our families, and the entire Ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
Happy Eid!
Mufti Sheikh Nuruddin Khaliq Nazar
Chairman of the Administration of Muslims of Uzbekistan
