His Excellency Ambassador Jürgen Scholz today presented his credentials as Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Egypt to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Ambassador Scholz expressed his deep appreciation for the long-standing and close relationship between Germany and Egypt and emphasized his readiness to continue and strengthen relations between the two countries. Germany and Egypt share a long-standing partnership in areas such as trade, culture, education, and development. Germany and Egypt also jointly strive to achieve peace and stability in the region.
On this occasion, Ambassador Scholz stated: “It is an honor for me to serve as Germany’s Ambassador to Egypt, as Egypt plays a pivotal role in achieving stability in the region and a leading role in various diplomatic and security policy initiatives. Egypt and Germany share strong and enduring ties, and cooperation between our two countries is the foundation of our foreign policy. Together, we can strengthen the Egyptian-German partnership, which will contribute to greater stability and prosperity in the region.” It is worth noting that Ambassador Scholz seeks to focus on strengthening diplomatic, economic, and cultural exchanges between the two countries, particularly cooperation in the various fields of energy and education.
