A phone call took place on Wednesday, March 19, between Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, and Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
Minister Abdel Aty praised the continuous development of bilateral relations between Egypt and Azerbaijan at all levels, noting the high-level exchanges between the two sides. He expressed Egypt’s aspiration to capitalize on the momentum generated by the exchange of visits to advance all aspects of bilateral cooperation, contributing to a qualitative shift in the historical relations between the two countries in various fields.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed Egypt’s aspiration to enhance economic cooperation, increase trade and investment exchange, and consolidate economic partnerships between the private sectors of the two countries. He also pointed to the importance of continuing cooperation and coordination in international forums and exchanging nominations for various international positions.
