I believe that US President Donald Trump’s call with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi this evening gives a strong indication that Egypt’s decision to reject the displacement of Palestinians to Sinai, and the popular uprising from all segments of the Egyptian people, especially the opponents before the supporters, Trump did a great service in the unity of the Egyptian people behind their president, sending a strong message to the US administration, that Egypt will not accept the displacement of Egyptians at all, which was clearly evident in the statement of Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdel Aati, in addition to the meeting of the six-party committee that confirmed the solidarity and support of the Arab countries with Egypt and Jordan at this important and sensitive time in which the map of the Middle East is being redrawn a new.
I believe that President Sisi’s proposal of the Negev Desert as a temporary alternative solution for the Palestinian people until part of the reconstruction of Gaza is completed, especially the infrastructure, and that Egypt has a precedent in this field through the Armed Forces Engineering Authority, as well as Arab Contractors and private sector companies, spoiled the American-Israeli plan not to resolve the issue and establish two states.
We have repeatedly confirmed the falsehood of the Western media, especially the American media, and the dark Brotherhood groups and the funding agencies for spreading rumors and lies against Egypt and President Sisi in particular, which made the great Egyptian people expose the falsehood of the conspiracy and worked to thwart it. The latest of these lies is that the rubble and debris in Gaza will need 15 years to be removed. This is inaccurate and devoid of truth and truth, as evidenced by the fact that the earthquake that struck Turkey and more than 20 of its governorates had a force equivalent to the destruction that occurred in Gaza hundreds of times, and they were able to remove it and return citizens to their homes within a year.
I say it and I called for it, emphasizing that all Arabs, starting with Saudi Arabia and the Emirates and ending with Algeria and Iraq, must stand behind Egypt at this important and sensitive time because Egypt is the cornerstone and the target and the grand prize for dividing the Middle East. President Sisi did well in his decisive position since the beginning of (Al-Aqsa Flood) despite the pressures and temptations – and this is a historical position that is credited to him – by not liquidating the Palestinian cause or displacing the Palestinians who raised the slogan (either the land or the grave), while the Israeli extreme right led by Netanyahu has not yet known the psychology of the Palestinian citizen and that the Palestinian children in Gaza and the West Bank who saw the killing of their fathers and mothers will have this stored in the mental image inside them and will create from them a project of new fighters.
The issue will not end and the Gaza war will not be the last one, and I believe that the next war – if a war occurs – Egypt will have a major role in it.
Egypt, O Arabs, has fought four wars since 1948, sacrificing its sons, officers and soldiers of the armed forces, and they are still thirsty for this.
I believe that the smart political message that was sent yesterday in front of the Rafah crossing by tens of thousands of Egyptian citizens thirsty for support for the Palestinian people is a message to those concerned from the Arabs before the Americans: Do not leave Egypt alone in the face of this new Trumpian flood, for the American president is the biggest broker in the world, and the coming days will reveal that.
