The British newspaper, the Telegraph, has named Malaysia, voted the most loved country in Asia, among the world’s 25 must-visit destinations for 2025, based on votes from its travel experts.
“The country encompasses a huge array of different cultures and stunning biodiversity, from vast coral reefs to verdant rainforests. Then there’s the capital, Kuala Lumpur, a city quite literally on the up,” The Telegraph wrote.
This year, Kuala Lumpur is set to elevate its status further with the completion of several skyscrapers and hotel projects. These developments are expected to enhance its global reputation as a vibrant and modern metropolis.
Visitors to Malaysia can also look forward to an array of festivals and pageants as the country assumes leadership of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) for the year.
Malaysia, voted Asia’s most loved country by American finance website Insider Monkey, has been named one of the world’s 20 most relaxing travel destinations, according to a report by travel site BookRetreats.com.
