On the occasion of the New Year 2025, I am pleased, on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, to extend New Year greetings to all friends interested in and supporters of Chinese-Egyptian and Chinese-Arab relations, and wish your families happiness and well-being and your country security and prosperity!
The year 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Egypt and the “Year of the Chinese-Egyptian Partnership”. While the Chinese people, under the wise leadership of President Xi Jinping, are working to build a strong country and realize national rejuvenation through Chinese-style modernization, the Egyptian people, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, are making unremitting efforts to build the “New Republic”. Under the strategic guidance of the two presidents, China-Egypt relations have made great leaps forward, and are now at a new starting point, advancing toward the lofty goal of building a China-Egypt community with a shared future in the new era. As the Arabs say, friends are the sunrise of life. We are keen to work together with our Egyptian friends in the New Year to enhance the vitality of traditional friendship and raise the level of mutually beneficial cooperation.
