Chinese President Xi Jinping said Tuesday that no one can stop China’s reunification as the trend of the times.
“We Chinese across the Taiwan Strait belong to the same family. No one can ever sever our kinship,” Xi said in his 2025 New Year’s message.
China will unswervingly implement the “one country, two systems” policy to maintain long-term prosperity and stability in Hong Kong and Macao, he added.
