PM of Malaysia, dr. Anwar Ibrahim congratulated all the world, edp. His Malaysian people as the Christmas Days flash everywhere as follows:
Christmas events and celebrations on December 25th each year come and delight many Christians around the world, and Malaysia is no exception.
As a diverse and multi-racial and culturally diverse country, major celebrations such as these continue to be a source of strength and unity among the races in Malaysia.
I often emphasize how racial and cultural differences are a recipe for prosperity for any country that desires harmony and peace based on the principles of coexistence.
Therefore, any efforts to plant seeds and symptoms that trigger racial conflict must be avoided because it turns out that we need and complement each other, especially in the effort to build a successful and skilled national identity.
Meanwhile, Malaysia should not fail and be paralyzed just because of the interests of a few groups, but rather must be guided by the values and principles of universal justice in order to encourage the great desires and hopes of the nation’s founding fathers who wanted this country to be at the forefront of building the future and dignity of the nation.
Merry Christmas to all Christians, with the hope that you spend enough time with your loved ones on this big day and keep the love between people alive.
