Sharshar said in his speech that many Arab regimes have fallen because of the issue of human rights and the file of freedoms and media restrictions, indicating that we should not react to the reports of European and American organizations that reduce human rights to the issue of political rights as if there are no other rights.

Sharshar added: I had the honor as an independent deputy and editor-in-chief of an independent newspaper to be invited to stand on the platform of the United Nations Human Rights Organization in Geneva to confirm that there is no country in the world that is exposed to lies and rumors 24 hours a day like Egypt, and there are global intelligence agencies and dark groups that spend billions of dollars annually to try to bring down the Egyptian state, and the Syrian example is not far from us.

Sharshar stressed that what is happening in Egypt in the media file needs to be reconsidered and highly qualified elements should be selected to manage the file.

The conference was attended by Professor Diaa Rashwan, head of the General Authority for Information, media figure Essam El Amir, Deputy of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, Professor Khaled El Balshy, Head of the Journalists Syndicate, Dr. Tarek Saada, Head of the Journalists Syndicate, member of the Senate and journalist Alaa El Ghatrifi, Ambassador Mahmoud Karem, and Dr. Osama El Saeed.
