The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Saleh bin Eid Al-Hussaini, expressed his great pride and happiness after the announcement of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosting the “2034 FIFA World Cup”, stressing that this important step comes with the support and interest of the Kingdom’s leadership – may God protect it – and is consistent with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Ambassador Al-Hussaini noted that this sound vision has achieved remarkable success and enabled the Kingdom to consolidate its leading position as a global sports center, with its charming and diverse nature, ambitious passion, and exceptional capabilities in all sectors, and its adoption of an approach that paves the way for a bright future for football at the local and international levels.
The Saudi Ambassador stressed that he is certain and confident in the Kingdom’s readiness and preparedness to provide an exceptional experience that the whole world will witness, with God’s help and will. Especially since the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a long history of success in hosting major international events, and possesses the skills and expertise necessary to manage the huge numbers of visitors and provide exceptional services in accordance with the highest international standards. The Kingdom is also working to harness the integrated vision and accumulated expertise to organize a championship that builds a distinguished legacy that enhances the feelings of pride among the Saudi people.
