It announced that senior diplomats from Iran and Oman stressed the need for immediate international action to halt the Israeli regime’s atrocities against Gaza.
In a meeting in Muscat on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Omani counterpart Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi talked about the latest regional developments.
According to tasnim, voicing concern about the alarming conditions in the wake of the Zionist regime’s unrelenting acts of aggression against the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, the two ministers called for urgent international action to stop the Israeli genocidal crimes and military strikes.
They also agreed to step up contacts with the other international parties to protect regional security and stability and prevent the spread of war.
Araqchi and Al Busaidi also hailed the strong, age-old and friendly relations between Iran and Oman, expressing their determination to strengthen and promote cooperation between the two neighbors in various fields.
The top Iranian diplomat has visited Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq and Oman in recent days in pursuit of collective efforts to end the Israeli regime’s war on Gaza and Lebanon.
