Governor of Cairo Dr. Ibrahim Saber receives ambassador of Armenia and praises efforts to enhance joint cooperation between Cairo and Yerevan

Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, met today with Ambassador Hrachya Arshak Poladian, Ambassador of Armenia to Cairo, at the General Diwan of Cairo Governorate, on a farewell visit before his departure to end his mission in Egypt as Ambassador of Armenia.

The Governor of Cairo stressed that Egypt appreciates and is proud of its friendship with the state and people of Armenia, which is evident in the mutual presidential meetings and communications between the two countries, wishing the Ambassador success in his new duties.

During the meeting, the Governor of Cairo praised Ambassador Poladian’s efforts to enhance joint cooperation between Cairo and Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, and his role in the arrangements for preparing for the friendship and cooperation agreement between the two cities.

Ambassador Hrachya Arshak Poladian, Ambassador of Armenia to Cairo, stressed that he lived in Egypt for 10 years and witnessed the great development and rapid urban growth in Egypt during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, thanking the Governor of Cairo and his auxiliary agencies for the fruitful cooperation throughout his work in Cairo.

The Armenian Ambassador invited the Governor of Cairo to visit the Armenian capital Yerevan, and presented him with a picture of the square, which was named in Armenia “Egypt Square” in appreciation of the distinguished relations between the two countries, and which is located in one of the most important areas of the Armenian capital.
