The third edition of the World Artificial Intelligence Summit, which will be held in Riyadh from September 10-12, 2024, with the participation of more than 300 speakers and the presence of a number of figures specialized in artificial intelligence from 100 countries around the world, intends to enrich the dimensions of artificial intelligence at the global level through eight pillars that work to formulate ideas and visions that contribute to setting the frameworks and general ethics that govern the uses of artificial intelligence technologies, and the expansion of the benefit from its solutions in accelerating the wheel of development in various fields to build a better present and future for future generations.
The eight pillars review the rapid progress in the field of generative artificial intelligence and the possibility of it being a path towards general artificial intelligence, in addition to its role in encouraging a deep understanding of these pioneering technologies and their impact on the future of humanity, and the role of governments in harnessing the capabilities of artificial intelligence to drive economic growth and achieve national interests and societal progress.
The summit, which is held under the theme of “AI for the Good of Humanity,” will also discuss strategic approaches to AI, talent development, and bridging digital divides to ensure equitable access. One of the pillars will explore the impact of ethics, governance, and AI on education, culture, and science, as well as calling for responsible innovation for the benefit of society.
The summit’s pillars highlight the discovery of the interaction between humans and artificial intelligence, and the discovery of the capabilities of artificial intelligence in enhancing artistic expression and the psychological aspects of the interaction between humans and artificial intelligence, while assessing the material basis of artificial intelligence, with a focus on the potential of innovation in computer science, cooperation in supply chains, and sustainable computing in driving the economy and advancing artificial intelligence.
