Governor of Aswan: Investment Summit Nov. 11,  a new strategy for cooperation between private sector and civil society

Governor of Aswan, Ismail Kamal, received Dr. Hoda Yassa, President of the Arab Women Investors Union and Member of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs and her accompanying delegation from Egypt and Russia.

The meeting included discussing mechanisms for joint cooperation at the Arab-African Investment and International Cooperation Summit, held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly in its 27th session, held from November 11 to 15, 2024 in Aswan Governorate, in support of the “For You, My Country” initiative, our Arab unity and our international cooperation, to stimulate tourism, support industry and transfer technology on the land of the golden land of Aswan.

At the beginning, Major General Ismail Kamal welcomed the investment summit and its objectives, explaining that holding the summit is in line with the governorate’s work plan, most notably supporting investment and industrial development and emphasizing the advantages provided by the governorate for the many components possessed by the Bride of Winters, and maximizing Aswan’s opportunities in the fields of non-traditional tourism, one-day tourism, and charter flights.

In this context, His Excellency stressed that his vision for comprehensive sustainable development is based on developing capabilities and information infrastructure in the field of digital transformation, and marketing various applications.

He also stressed the support of civil society and participation Serious community.

For her part, Dr. Hoda Yassin presented the goals and axes of the 27th Arab-African Investment and International Cooperation Summit, and the tourism program that will be held to promote tourism in the governorate.

She also stressed the importance of the conference promoting all investment incentives provided by the new government, the advantages of joint manufacturing, investment opportunities available in Egypt, giant industrial projects, and new developments in the attractive investment climate.

Ms. Elena Matieva, Head of the Women’s Center at the Russian Association for the United Nations, Head of the National Association of Successful Women, and Head of the Egyptian-Russian Economic Committee in the Union, added that the Russian delegation’s interest in the “For You, My Country, and Our International Cooperation” initiative and the focus on educational, medical, and health tourism that Egypt is distinguished by in general and the resort where the event will be held in particular, and she also stressed cooperation with the various industrial committees in the Union and the importance of technology transfer, as the President of the Union, Dr. Hoda, is interested in the industrial sector to achieve the triangle of success from technology transfer, advantages provided by the new government, and the financing capacity of projects.
