Including two Egyptian contestants..The Jury of the King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Memorization of the Holy Quran listens to the recitations of 14 contestants on its first day

The Jury of the final qualifiers of the King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Memorization, Recitation and Interpretation of the Holy Quran in its (44) session, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – listened to the recitations of (14) contestants on its first day, including (6) contestants in the morning period and (8) contestants in the evening period, as they participate in the five branches of the competition in the Grand Mosque.

The jury listened to contestants representing the countries of “Kenya, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Uganda, Kuwait, Djibouti, Sri Lanka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yemen, the Philippines, Ghana, Jordan, Portugal and Bahrain”, while the committee resumes the listening sessions today, Sunday, by listening to the recitations of a number of contestants in two periods, morning and evening, where an elite group of international judges participate in judging the competition. The listening hall is attended by a large gathering of participants, companions, visitors to the Grand Mosque, interested parties and officials of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, in an atmosphere of faith in which the most beautiful voices of the Holy Book of Allah are heard, competing to win the honor of reciting the Holy Book of Allah in the place of revelation and in the ancient house.
