Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, and Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, this morning, work was carried out to remove the effects of the fire that broke out in the two properties located on Al-Gawhary Street in the Al-Mosky district, and to continue the Engineering Committee’s examination of the properties next to them to determine the extent to which they were affected by the accident.
This came in the presence of Major General Ibrahim Abdel Hadi, Deputy Governor of the Western Region, and Major General Yahya Al-Adgham, Secretary-General.
The Minister of Local Development was keen to inspect a number of streets in the area surrounding the two properties that were exposed to the fire, to follow up on the governorate’s efforts taken to preserve the lives of citizens and the safety of the properties adjacent to them, and to indicate the extent to which they were affected by the incident.
Dr. Manal Awad also discussed with Dr. Ibrahim Saber a study of developing and raising the efficiency of the region and a number of facades of government buildings located in Ataba Square and the Muski area, in a manner commensurate with the cultural and aesthetic aspect of the region.
