The Turkish Ambassador to Cairo Salih Mutlu Şen said: Turkish investments in Egypt continue to expand and grow. Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen visited the headquarters and warehouses of the Turkish company BIM Egypt on October 6.

During the statements made by Ambassador Şen to journalists during the visit, he said that BIM Egypt supports Egyptian production through its large chain of stores and the concept of selling products with 100% Egyptian raw materials, the best quality and the cheapest prices.

Ambassador Shen pointed out that BIM Egypt and many other Turkish companies that have a large number of stores such as Defacto, LC Waikiki and Collins have expanded their activities in Egypt, explaining that in addition to that, other Turkish companies will come to Egypt and that Turkish investments continue to expand and grow in every field in Egypt and these investments are supported by both the Turkish and Egyptian governments.

Ambassador Shen said that trade, economy and investments are the strongest areas of cooperation between Turkey and Egypt, adding that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will come to Cairo soon, and that during that visit trade and economic issues will be discussed between the two sides.

The ambassador added that there are approximately 12,000 BIM stores in Turkey and approximately 800 branches in Morocco.
He stated that Egypt is one of the best investment destinations for Turkey and that 95% of local products are sold at BIM Egypt.
