In addition to his position as a member of the Saudi Shura Council, he chaired the Economic and Energy Affairs Committee for several sessions, before moving to the Economic Committee in the Council.
Al-Hussaini left; The Shura Council after he left his mark on it, which is recorded in the history of the council, when he contributed to the establishment of the Saudi Investment Authority and the foreign investment system, and the mark was repeated in another position, when he was Undersecretary for Industrial Affairs in the Ministry of Trade and Industry, as he contributed to the establishment of the Industrial Cities Authority.
