Dr. Seymour Nasirov, the founding member of the World Union of Azerbaijani Scientists and its representative in the Middle East and Africa, said that the “World Union of Azerbaijani Scientists” is organizing the first forum for Azerbaijani scientists working outside Azerbaijan with the support of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the Republic in the period from 8 to 12 September 2024 in the city Baku.
The purpose of the forum is to bring together Azerbaijani scientists living in different countries of the world, organize the exchange of experiences and knowledge, communicate between scientists and specialists in scientific fields, and strengthen relations with the motherland by contributing to the activities of the community and supporting Azerbaijan in preparing and implementing strategic plans related to science, technology, energy and education. Health and climate change, as well as other cultural and social sciences, supporting the younger generation that aims to work in the scientific arena, ensuring the preparation of various educational projects and programs, and supporting scientific work.
In order to participate in the forum, Azerbaijani scholars residing abroad must register by filling out the online questionnaire form located on this website:

The jury will make the selection process in two stages:
Receiving applications and conducting interviews via video.
The results will be announced between July 25 and August 15, 2024.
