‘Salman Relief’ implements a volunteer medical project for heart surgery and catheterization in Medan, Indonesia

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center implemented the volunteer medical project for heart surgery and catheterization in the city of Medan in the Republic of Indonesia, which took place within a week, with the participation of 22 volunteers from various medical specialties, and in cooperation with the Muslim World League.

During the campaign, the center’s volunteer medical team performed 24 open-heart surgeries and 124 interventional cardiac catheterizations, all of which were crowned with complete success, praise be to God.
The project comes as an extension of the volunteer medical projects related to heart surgery provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center. To help people and countries in need around the world.
