The units of the Saudi Armed Forces continue to participate in the “Eager Lion 2024” exercise, whose activities are being carried out in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
To enhance the concept of joint action, the armed forces participating in the exercise carried out their field exercises alongside the forces of 32 sisterly and friendly countries. The field exercises included joint targeting operations, missile air defense, and counter-terrorism operations in populated areas, in addition to hostage-liberation operations, and defense and attack operations with vehicles. Tanks, cyber operations, information operations and strategic communications.
The exercise aims to exchange experiences and train on planning and implementing joint operations and missile defense operations, in addition to implementing anti-terrorism operations and maritime security operations to confront regional threats. The exercise aims to train the participating forces to implement border security operations and develop the capabilities of military units to confront and manage crises. .
It is noteworthy that the Armed Forces, represented by the Chief of General Staff, the Joint Forces Command, and the branches of the Armed Forces (land, air, sea, and air defence), are participating in the “Eager Lion 2024” exercise with actual forces, planning officers, and observer officers.
