The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned in the strongest terms, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 14, the terrorist attack that took place at one of the military points in the Salah al-Din Governorate in the brotherly Republic of Iraq, and resulted in the martyrdom of a number of soldiers, and the injury of a number of others.
Egypt expressed its full solidarity with the sisterly State of Iraq in this delicate circumstance, and its sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the Iraqi government and people and to the families of the martyrs, calling on God Almighty to cover them with His vast mercy, and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
