On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him -, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, arrived today in Banjul, the capital of the Republic of Gambia, to head the Kingdom’s delegation participating in the fifteenth session of the Islamic Summit Conference (ISC) under the slogan “Promoting unity and solidarity through dialogue for sustainable development.”
His Highness the Foreign Minister will discuss with Their Highnesses, Excellencies, and Excellencies the leaders of countries and representatives of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation countries, many issues of concern to Islamic countries, most notably the Palestinian issue and developments in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings. His Highness the Foreign Minister will also hand over the presidency of the summit for its current fifteenth session to the Republic of The Gambia after chairing Kingdom for the fourteenth session.
