Ambassador Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, confirmed that the visit of Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Egypt and his meeting with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi aims to enhance bilateral strategic integration in various fields, and is the culmination of cooperation. It will be fruitful between the two countries in all fields, especially political, economic and commercial, and will enhance coordination efforts, joint security and military cooperation, and efforts to combat terrorism, for the benefit of the two peoples and the two brotherly countries, and unity of ranks and exchange of views to enhance unified Arab visions to confront regional challenges for the benefit of the peoples of the region and the entire world.
Zainal praised the valuable and fruitful outcomes and results of King Hamad’s visit and his discussions with his brother, President Sisi, and their support for the efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the Arab region, stressing that the relations of the two countries over the course of extended history have been characterized by cohesion, solidarity, and official and popular rapprochement, noting the compatibility of Bahraini-Egyptian visions and their firm convictions in the necessity of ending… The Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, and the necessity of containing the escalation resulting from this war, and sparing the region the dangers of its expansion.
Ambassador Fawzia Zainal said that the royal visit to Cairo represents a renewed and ongoing summit that expresses the mutual appreciation between the two great leaders, and within the framework of eternal and strong fraternal relations, embodied by historical constants and a common destiny, stressing that Bahrain and Egypt constitute an impregnable Arab depth, to confront existing challenges at the level of… The region, and strengthening the process of joint Arab action. The historic visit also expressed the important position of Egypt as a decisive strategic asset for the security of the Arabian Gulf, and its constructive initiatives in leading peace efforts in the Middle East, in addition to Bahrain’s steadfast support for Egypt’s security and progress under the directives of His Majesty the King.
She pointed out the strong historical and distinguished fraternal relations that bind the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the steady rapprochement and continuous growth witnessed by that relationship between the two brotherly countries, the deep partnership that brings them together, and the path of integrated coordination in all fields, in light of the keenness and interest of the wise leaderships of the two countries. The two brothers and the ongoing discussions between them would contribute to formulating a new phase of effective partnership, strengthening the bonds of cohesion and integration, advanced cooperation in various fields, and effective coordination on all regional and international issues and developments, for the benefit of the two brotherly countries and the promotion of security and prosperity, stressing that The meeting of the two leaders confirms that the upcoming Arab summit in Manama enhances Arab solidarity, peace, security and stability in the region.
