The second Arab coordination meeting was held at the level of permanent delegates to the League of Arab States on Tuesday, 3/19/2024, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat, in order to prepare for the third session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is scheduled to be held in the city of Doha in the State of Qatar on Tuesday.
Corresponding to 4/30/2024. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of His Excellency Ambassador Tariq Ali Faraj Al Ansari, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States (the host country), and His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Manzalawi, Assistant Secretary-General – Head of the International Political Affairs Sector for the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.
The meeting discussed the draft Doha Declaration scheduled to be issued by the third session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the aim of reaching a unified Arab vision regarding all the issues of common interest mentioned in the declaration, the most important of which are the Palestinian issue, the war in Gaza, geopolitical challenges, and economic issues. This is in preparation for its discussion with the countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
