The Italian Ambassador to Egypt, Michele Quarrone: An Italian ship was sent to establish a military hospital since last December in Al-Arish, and it succeeded in providing treatment to more than 100 patients in cooperation with the General Hospital in Al-Arish. Nearly 350 children and mothers were also taken out through the Rafah crossing and sent to Italy to receive treatment.
Quarrone stresses that Italy believes the only solution to achieve security in the region is the two-state solution and recognition of the Palestinian state to ensure stability in the region and calm the situation in the Red Sea.
