Tonight, for boosting tourism between Egypt and Malaysia.. The Embassy of Malaysia to Cairo organized a celebration attended by owners of Egyptian and Malaysian tourist companies.
This conference was held by the Malaysian Tourism Development Authority, in coordination with the Malaysian Embassy in Cairo, and the Authority intends to send a second mission to Egypt to serve tourism promotion for Malaysia.
Many Malaysian tourism companies and their Egyptian counterparts participated in the forum, where the prospects for joint cooperation were discussed in a way that contributes to increasing the joint tourism movement between the two countries during the next stage.
The Malaysian delegation expressed a great desire to increase tourism movement to and from Egypt, as both countries have advantages and great tourism components that provide the tourist with an enjoyable and unique trip.
From the Malaysian side, Ahmed Faisal, Director of the Malaysian Tourism Development Authority, Head of the Malaysian delegation to Egypt, and Rafidah Abdel Aziz, Acting Malaysian Ambassador to Cairo, participated.
The head of the delegation said, in exclusive statements to Al-Ahram Gate, before holding a press conference, that this mission is for the purpose of welcoming Egyptians and inviting them to visit Malaysia by promoting Malaysian tourism through the current delegation, which is working to list the most important tourist attractions in Malaysia.
The head of the delegation, which witnessed 9 organizations working in the Malaysian tourism sector, said that these organizations came for the purpose of exchanging relations and experiences between Egypt and Malaysia in the tourism sector to attract more Egyptians to Malaysian tourism.
The head of the delegation added that the Malaysian companies present today from the tourism sector are looking forward to meeting their Egyptian counterparts in the same field and being able to exchange tourism programs that attract more Egyptians to Malaysia as a global tourist destination.
The Director of the Malaysian Tourism Development Authority, through Al-Ahram Portal, appealed to the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism to communicate in order to exploit the Malaysian tourism companies present in the current mission in Egypt, to work on the flow of Malaysian tourism also to Egypt, and to exchange the two countries, Egypt and Malaysia, for tourism promotion.
