The Rotary Club of Heliopolis, headed by Dr. Mohamed Awad Taher, a program to train a number of doctors on basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation, in coordination with Heliopolis Hospital in Heliopolis. The program comes in accordance with the strategy of the Rotary Club of Heliopolis by providing opportunities for education, medical training, and continuous technical research and development in an attempt to bridge the gap between… University medical qualification and specialized medical professional practice.
The training was conducted by Professor Dr. Tarek El-Khouly, Professor of Cardiology at Kasr El-Aini, which was followed by honoring the trainee doctors and distributing training certificates to them in the presence of the Director of Heliopolis Hospital, Dr. Ahmed Al-Khouly.
It is noteworthy that last November, the Rotary Club of Heliopolis, in cooperation with the German Rotary Club of Oldenburg, presented the Faculty of Medicine at Sohag University with a nursery unit containing five beds for premature newborns, in addition to a device for detecting hearing impairment for newborns, the first of its kind in Egypt.
The Heliopolis Rotary Club seeks to satisfy diverse economic, social and cultural needs, and the work base depends on volunteer work and seeks to empower the poor to improve their quality of life, defend their interests, and provide what satisfies their basic needs in line with the state’s leading policy for a better life for all Egyptians.
