The Union of Arab Journalists, headed by Moayed Al-Lami, is holding an emergency session at the Union’s headquarters in Cairo now today to discuss the repercussions of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and the unjust war waged by the Israeli forces against the Palestinian people, especially journalists and media professionals.
This session aims to shed light on the brutal Israeli aggression and document the crimes committed by the occupation and distribute it to international media institutions, as well as to present it to international human rights centers and to the International Criminal Court to try Israeli war criminals.
Palestine is represented at this meeting by Captain Nasser Abu Bakr, and the head of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate will inform the members of the union about the Palestinian conditions and aggressive practices against journalists, media professionals, and Palestinian, Arab and international media institutions that support the Palestinian people.
The Union expressed its hope that the international community would support these efforts and encourage the achievement of justice and equity for the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli oppression.
