The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Nuqli, and the Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Matar, held in Cairo today an official reception on the occasion of the 93rd National Day of the Kingdom, in the presence of their Excellencies the ministers in the Egyptian government, the Mufti of Egypt, the Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, a representative of the Church, and the ambassadors. Accredited to Cairo include a number of officials, businessmen, thinkers, artists and media figures.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Kingdom’s leadership, government and people to the attendees, and through which he addressed the Kingdom’s ambitious vision through which the people of the country proved that we “dream and achieve” and “we say let us do” as all sectors of the Kingdom compete in achieving achievements. Unprecedented at the local, regional and global levels, witnessed by all international observers, analysts and followers.
He added that the transformation and development efforts led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are not limited to its interests only, but also extend to contributing directly to sustainable global development.
The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques spoke with pride about the close relations and historical ties extending between the Kingdom and Egypt and the steady growth they are witnessing under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – and their brother. His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, let these relations rise to the strategic level worthy of both countries in serving the common interests, our Arab and Islamic nations, and international peace and security.
For his part, the Kingdom’s permanent representative to the League of Arab States said: We remember on this day the great interest and dedication the Kingdom has given to the efforts in serving the issues of our Arab nation, as it was the first to lay the foundation stone with the sister Arab countries that founded the House of Arabs for the League of Arab States since its inception. In 1945 AD, it remained keen on cooperation, solidarity, and unification in the face of all the circumstances and challenges that the Arab League system experienced.
Ambassador Al-Matar stressed that the history of the Arab League documents the Kingdom’s role as a success partner in advancing its path in various fields, strengthening joint Arab action, supporting the bonds of cooperation between fraternal countries, and achieving a comprehensive renaissance for our countries and peoples in all fields. The Kingdom will continue to work hand in hand with the Arab brothers under the umbrella of the League of Nations. Arabic to raise the word of the Arabs high and serve our legitimate and just causes.
His Excellency the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum, Engineer Tarek El Molla, delivered a speech on behalf of the Egyptian government, in which he expressed his best congratulations to the government and people of the Kingdom on the occasion of the 93rd National Day.
He said: Celebrating the Kingdom’s National Day carries many hopes and aspirations for the Kingdom and its honorable people, noting the renaissance the Kingdom is witnessing in various fields.
Al-Mulla stressed the depth of the strong and established relations between the peoples of the two honorable countries and their wise leadership, and that the Kingdom and Egypt have an exceptional relationship that is based on ancient history and brings together the Saudi and Egyptian peoples.
He pointed out that economic and investment cooperation between the Kingdom and Egypt constitutes an essential element in the cooperation relations that are witnessing great development, which contributes to enhancing economic development in both countries.
Al-Mulla considered the role played by the Kingdom and Egypt in regional and international issues a vital role in achieving stability and peace, stressing the two countries’ commitment to supporting political solutions to regional and international crises and calling for a comprehensive investigation in the region.
At the conclusion of his speech, the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum expressed his country’s appreciation and pride in its fraternal relations with the Kingdom, wishing the Kingdom’s government and people continued prosperity and prosperity.
