His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call from His Excellency Anthony Blinken, Secretary of State of the United States of America.
During the call, developments in the brotherly Republic of Sudan were discussed, and the importance of stopping the military escalation between the conflicting parties, ending violence, and reducing the level of tensions to ensure the security and stability of Sudan and its brotherly people.
During the call, the US Secretary of State also praised the Kingdom’s efforts to host representatives of about 40 countries recently in Jeddah to discuss the crisis in Ukraine and find solutions to it.
The two sides discussed intensifying coordination and bilateral work on many regional and international issues, foremost of which is the promotion of security and stability in the Middle East region, and efforts to lay the foundations for peace made by the two friendly countries in the region and the world.
