The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), represented by the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, is participating in the sixty-fourth meetings of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which will be held in the Swiss city of Geneva from July 6 to 14, 2023, in the presence of the Director General of the International Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Darren Tang, and a number of heads of offices, bodies and centers Intellectual property in all countries of the world.
During its participation in the Saudi Day event, the Commission presented the “Story of a Homeland”, which reviewed the stages of the historical, civilizational and cultural development of the Kingdom and the comprehensive development that the Kingdom is witnessing at the present time, leading to the vision of the future that it aspires to.
The Saudi pavilion presents a historical, cultural and heritage civilizational experience, which shows the Kingdom’s identity and its path throughout history, its plans to support intellectual property rights, and the preservation of human production represented by creativity and innovation.
The pavilion also includes many activities, starting with the culture of hospitality, Saudi coffee, Saudi food, and traditional meals that still decorate the Saudi table, folklore, arts, and the “Saudi dance with the sword,” and artistic paintings of Saudi fashion that reflect the stages of its development since its establishment until now, with its unique colors and lines. The visitor enjoys viewing folk crafts and arts with a long history.
In the historical tour, the Saudi pavilion presents innovative dimensions on screens that display Saudi cities and modern civil scenes, and makes it easier for the visitor – with just a click of a button – to feel the visit to the Kingdom, its cities and civilization, and the development it is witnessing in all fields, construction, education, health, industry, economy, arts, and sports. , culture, and public life, where a vivid picture of the world about the future is presented, and innovative projects that reflect progress and strategic thinking based on planning for the future.
While the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property reviews the Kingdom’s efforts and measures taken to protect creativity, innovation and invention, and to support talented people inside and outside the Kingdom.
