Murad Gatin, Director of the Russian Cultural Centers, will inaugurate at 6:00 pm today, June 15, in the exhibition hall at the headquarters of the Russian House in Dokki, an exhibition of plastic arts entitled Russia – Egypt is One Sun, with the participation of a group of Russian and Egyptian artists, as they display a group of artworks about Egypt.
The Russian artists had started their trip to Egypt by visiting Alexandria, and over the course of two weeks they toured most of the city’s neighborhoods, accompanied by Dr. Maliha Shuaib, the supervisor of plastic arts at the Russian House in Alexandria, painted many Alexandrian scenes that reflect the unique architectural style and history of the city, in addition to scenes from nature, Alexandria beaches, cafes, and popular neighborhoods where history is fragrant.
It is worth noting that this is the second exhibition of Russian artists after their first exhibition, which was inaugurated by Pavel Kidisuk, Director of the Russian House in Alexandria, which comes within the framework of the celebrations held in the two countries on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Egypt.
