The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s welcome to announce the meetings of the joint committee assigned by the Libyan Parliament and the High Council of State (6 + 6) with the agreement of its members on preparing laws regulating the parliamentary and presidential elections in sisterly Libya, at the end of its meetings on 17 and 18 Dhul Qi’dah 1444 AH corresponding to 6 And June 7, 2023 AD in the city of Bouznika, the sister Kingdom of Morocco.
She said: “The Kingdom commends the efforts of the brotherly Kingdom of Morocco in making the important dialogue and consensus successful, with the aim of achieving a political settlement in brotherly Libya, expressing its hope that the Libyan parties will formally sign the electoral laws, as an important step towards ending the crisis and enhancing security and stability in it.” And its keenness for Libya to be an active and influential country in its Arab, regional and international environment, and to achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Libyan people towards development and prosperity.
