On the occasion of Russia’s National Day, the Russian ambassador in Cairo, Georgy Borisenko, sent a message to Egyptian and Russian friends residing in Egypt, where he stated that Russia celebrates its national day on June 12 of each year, and Borisenko indicated that this year we celebrate and we are facing again a fierce aggressive attack from America And the West, who declared that they seek to destroy Russia and inflict the greatest amount of economic damage on us until military defeat, in addition to trying to drain us and subdue us.

The ambassador pointed out that this is not new to the West at the historical level, and they have previously sought to tear up Russian lands and try to enslave our people and exterminate the Russians. Women and Polish snipers shoot children, and the United States leads this process, turning Europe into its servant, at a time when America is delusional that it is the master of the world after it planted the Nazi regime in Kiev, that city that was the capital of ancient Russia, and for 10 years America supports the Ukrainian regime With the aim of destroying Russia as it dreams of suffocating us through sanctions.

Borisenko points out that despite the anger of the enemies and the strength of their blows, Russia has always overcome all difficulties, and today everyone knows that Russia is facing the entire NATO alliance, but we do not only defend our security interests, but also the right of peoples to live according to their traditions and not under the weight of the West, and our struggle may be long and difficult, but Russia feels well the support of friends in Asia, Africa and Latin America. The world is tired of Western colonialism and American hegemony.

Borisenko stresses that Egypt is among our main partners, which dates back thousands of years, yet it is always characterized by modernity and dynamism. We are bound by 80 years of diplomatic relations and the Treaty of Comprehensive Partnership and Strategic Cooperation, which symbolizes a high level of mutual understanding and trust. We maintain the established traditions of friendship and work hard. Together to promote stability in the Middle East and North Africa, expand relations in the field of culture and education, promote economic cooperation, including Russia’s uninterrupted supply of wheat, and assistance in building Egypt’s first nuclear power plant.
