Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, the official spokesman and director of the Public Diplomacy Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will travel this morning, Wednesday, May 10, to Berlin to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Munich formula on the peace process.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman stated that the foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, Germany and France will participate in the meeting to discuss developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, and ways to advance and intensify calm efforts and reduce tension between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.
He added that the explosive situation in the occupied Palestinian territories as a result of the repeated incursions of Israeli forces into Palestinian cities, and the targeting of civilians outside the framework of the law, represents a dangerous escalation that threatens to get out of control, which requires the intensification of all international efforts to stop the repeated Israeli attacks on the Palestinians, and coordinated action between the actors. regionally and internationally to achieve this goal.
