The Saudi Tourism Authority announced the launch of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s participation for the third time in a row in the 30th edition of the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai.
The exhibition will last for four days, during which the Kingdom’s position on the global tourism map will be strengthened, and its preference at the regional level. And shed light on destinations, experiences, products and investment opportunities, and build bridges of communication with its partners inside and outside the Kingdom.
The Saudi Arabia pavilion hosts the largest Saudi participation with 67 partners of the Saudi tourism system, in addition to more than 500 packages and distinctive tourism experiences ready immediately to complete reservations and receive visitors.
The pavilion also offers interactive and digital presentations through which visitors to the pavilion coexist with the history, present and aspirations of the Kingdom, its unique destinations and prominent landmarks.
as well as paintings of dances, flavours, architecture and costumes that establish depth and cultural diversity; Visitors also interact greatly with the Saudi café and the distinctive Saudi flavors
The participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this global tourism forum comes at a time when visiting the Kingdom has become easier, more enjoyable and smoother than ever before. Especially with the advent of the summer months, the mild weather, and the increasing demand for distinctive destinations along the Red Sea coast and the highlands in the south of the Kingdom, with their charming nature and cool weather.
Where the Kingdom provides its visitors with different types of visas, such as the tourist visa that allows performing Umrah .. and the transit visa, and the family and friends visa, in addition to making the electronic visa available to residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries without requiring specific professions,
A visa on arrival has also been made available to citizens of the United States, the United Kingdom, and European Union countries, in addition to holders of United States, United Kingdom, and Schengen visas for European Union countries.
The “Nusuk” platform participates in the unified national platform for those who visit Makkah and Madinah. Launched by the Saudi Tourism Authority and supervised for the first time within the Saudi pavilion at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai; It has more than 20 partners, representing the most important Umrah companies, organizing trips and providing services to the pilgrims. Among the partners of the Saudi tourism system participating this year were the Royal Commission for the Holy City of Makkah and the Holy Sites, and the Makkah Region Development Authority, Madinah Development Authority, the Royal Commission for Al-Ula Governorate, Al-Diriyah Company, Historic Jeddah “Al-Balad”, Al-Soudah Development Company, Saudi Cruise, Qiddiya Investment Company, Neum Company, and the Red Sea Project Company, in addition to a number of tourist destinations, major projects and organizers Flights, hotels, travel and tourism companies, airlines
On this occasion, Fahd Hamid Al-Din, CEO and member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Tourism Authority, said, “Today, Saudi Arabia is the number one investor in the world in the field of tourism. It is a first and ideal destination for major investors in the tourism sector from all over the world, and the Kingdom is now moving forward on its confident journey with more excellence, records and achievements, as the number of visitors coming to the Kingdom for the purposes of tourism, Umrah and business has exceeded; In the first quarter of this year, what was achieved in the same period of the previous year, and records were broken in attendance at international and quality events held annually, such as the Riyadh season, the Jeddah season, Formula 1 and the Middle East; And others…

And the CEO and member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Tourism Authority adds, “Our projects are no longer ink on paper; Rather, it is a tangible reality, as the Kingdom opens the first luxury hotels of the Red Sea project during the current year, and tourists can also shake hands with 300 years of the Kingdom’s ancient history, its prosperous present, and its bright future, through the ancient buildings and streets in the historic Diriyah; The home of history, heritage and authentic culture.”
It should be noted that Saudi tourism has achieved successive successes, as it recorded an accelerated growth that reached 121% compared to the growth rates of international tourism in the pre-pandemic period, and the Kingdom achieved 93.5 million visits in 2022, and today the Kingdom is considered the largest investor in tourism. Tourism worldwide, by allocating more than $550 billion to major projects and new destinations to be opened by 2030.
