Continuing the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – for the evacuations that it is carrying out from sister Sudan, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Noqli, explained that the total number of those evacuated since To date, operations have started with 2,544 people (119 Saudi citizens, and 2,425 citizens of 74 nationalities). Noting the Kingdom’s keenness to provide all the needs of foreign nationals in preparation for facilitating their safe departure to their countries.
Ambassador Osama Noqli stressed the Kingdom’s continued efforts and endeavors to organize and coordinate evacuations, and with regular efforts between all Saudi government agencies around the clock, to ensure the safety of the exit of civilians of all nationalities, in accordance with the request of brotherly and friendly countries to extend a helping hand to them in this regard.
Ambassador Noqli added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to make every effort to stop the bloodshed, stop the fighting, and return to the path of a political solution in brotherly Sudan, in partnership with brotherly and friendly countries and international organizations. Including work to stabilize the armistice, open safe humanitarian corridors and protect civilians, and any results reached will be announced in due course.
