The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating in the Youth Forum (FY) of the Economic and Social Council 2023, which will be held from 25 to 27 April 2023 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The forum is held under the slogan “Accelerating recovery from Covid-19 and fully implementing the 2030 Agenda with and for youth”, as the forum seeks in its session this year to enable the next generation to communicate directly with the member states of the United Nations.
The Kingdom’s delegation participating in the Economic and Social Council Youth Forum 2023 is headed by Othman Al-Muammar, Advisor at the Ministry of Economy and Planning. The delegation also includes representatives from Salam for Civilization Communication, Amec Foster Wheeler Energy and its engineering companies.
The forum highlights the important role that youth can play in advancing economic, social and environmental transformation. The agenda of the Economic and Social Council Youth Forum 2023 reviews the progress made in achieving the sustainable development goals, which cover areas such as: access to water and energy, In addition to the need to build more resilient societies.
