Major General Khaled Abdel-Al, Governor of Cairo, stressed the heads of districts to raise the degree of readiness to receive the celebration of the Christian brothers on the Day of Resurrection, and the Sham El-Nessim celebrations, and to intensify campaigns throughout the day to ensure the availability of all services.
The governor of Cairo also stressed the heads of districts to intensify cleaning campaigns, raise occupancy in the vicinity of churches, raise the efficiency of the surrounding streets, and ensure that street poles are lit and function efficiently.
The governor also stressed that all dilapidated and abandoned cars should be removed from the streets and absolutely not allowed to wait for any cars in the vicinity of churches.
The Governor of Cairo called on the Health Directorate, in coordination with the Directorates of Supply and Veterinary Medicine, to take all preventive measures on the occasion of Sham El-Nessim and the Spring Festival, while intensifying control and inspection campaigns on markets, especially places where frozen meat and poultry are displayed, fresh, processed and preserved fish stores of all kinds, bakeries and outlets selling basic commodities to citizens and markets to ensure The quality and validity of products and goods offered for consumption and control of infringing and unfit goods in order to preserve the public health of citizens and take legal measures against violators.
The governor of Cairo confirmed that the central operations room in the governorate is working to receive citizens’ reports 24 hours a day via the hotline 15496 to take legal measures against violators immediately.
