Respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, and respect for ethnic and religious pluralism are not mere slogans raised, but they are a reality touched by everyone who deals with society. Omani, a reality that sets human rights in mind; Realizing that the human being is the cornerstone of society and development, and that spreading the culture of dialogue, understanding and tolerance, through the values of justice, equality and freedom, has a great impact on the stability of the country and the world and providing the requirements for development and progress.
This authentic Omani approach, and this human sophistication in dealing with all human beings without discrimination, and upholding the principles of coexistence, tolerance and rejection of racism, constitute a unique case that expresses its values in word and deed, especially as we live in a world rife with violence, racism and hatred, in which ideas of extremism and extremism are spread. On hatred, what has had a significant impact on the developmental obstacles the world is witnessing has been reflected in human well-being and the efforts of developmental countries.
So it is natural that when the Sultanate talks about its pioneering social experience based on coexistence, tolerance and harmony, the world should listen, especially since they are not slogans raised, but rather values under which the Omani society lived and founded its blessed renaissance on which it became an example of successful experiences of coexistence and a role model. for global peace and security.
The Omani experience in coexistence and openness to cultures realizes that this is the only path to the security and political stability of society, which is reflected in the development process in both its economic and social aspects, and takes it towards achieving the required aspirations, ambitions and goals.
From this standpoint, which the Sultanate of Oman implements in deed and word, the Sultanate affirmed that racism constitutes a challenge to the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, destabilizes societies, weakens governments, impedes development opportunities and undermines the integration of peoples.

This Omani assertion is based on values that realize that the continuation of the tendencies of hatred and fanaticism increases the possibility of depriving people and peoples of their rights to development and well-being for ethnic or religious reasons, as their rights are affected through stigmatization, humiliation, non-integration or isolation, and the Omani participation came not only to review the exceptional Omani case, but also It was a platform in which the Sultanate emphasized the discriminatory treatment that Muslims in many countries are subjected to, whether against their persons or against their religious symbols and provocations such as burning copies of the Holy Qur’an under the pretext of freedom of expression, which is a veiled warning of the consequences of those racist policies that incite hatred and spread Thoughts of malice and hatred between people. At the same time, this participation is a sincere and loving Omani message that shows human commonalities and the importance of being aware of them and adhering to them in order to be a way to get rid of rupture diseases, and a reason to eliminate the causes of dispersion and disharmony.
