The Royal Saudi Air Force continues its participation in the “Cobra Warrior 2023” exercise at Waddington Base in the United Kingdom, alongside the forces of 6 friendly countries.
The Assistant Commander of King Fahd Air Base, Major General Staff Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Shehri, witnessed the continuation of the activities and maneuvers of the Air Force Group participating in the exercise, and the attendance of the Senior Leaders Day, saying, “What I sensed of the efforts of the Air Force Group participating in the “Cobra Warrior 2023” exercise It is reassuring and proves their professionalism.”
He pointed out that the exercise, in which the Air Force participates with “Typhoon” aircraft with its air, technical and support crews, aims to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between the Royal Saudi Air Force and the British Royal Air Force and the countries participating in the exercise, in addition to exchanging experiences in the field of planning and joint air operations.
The maneuvers were launched at Coninsby Air Force Base in the United Kingdom, with the participation of the Royal Saudi Air Force, with six Typhoon aircraft, and the air forces of friendly countries.
The commander of the Air Force Group participating in the exercise, Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Atallah bin Humaid Al-Osaimi, explained that the exercise maneuvers are being carried out in a real combat environment, as they include electronic warfare, electronic jamming, support for surface forces, in addition to avoiding ground threats, indicating that the preparations have been implemented to the fullest.
