London – In the first official hosting of an Islamic figure at Buckingham Palace in the British capital, London, after his ascension to the British throne, His Majesty King Charles III, King of the United Kingdom, received His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL), Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa.
During the meeting that brought together the two parties, they reviewed the duty of religious and intellectual leaders towards a number of issues related to common human values and principles, especially issues related to strengthening friendship and cooperation between peoples through the gateway of their civilized communication. Depending on its religious and cultural contributions, and its active and rich dialogues, Dr. Al-Issa noted His Majesty’s fair stances towards a number of issues, including his expressed appreciation and respect for the Islamic civilization, which communicated effectively with other civilizations according to their common human ties.
